Theatre and Performance for Key Stage 2 and 3: Muckers

This workshop is aimed at teachers and artist educators who want to explore the Experience, Create, Review learning framework for theatre and performance.

The session is designed to support Muckers, a theatre piece developed by Cardiff based Theatre Iolo that will be staged at three theatres in the South East Region of Wales during the Spring Term 2020. This performance is suitable for Key Stage 2 and 3 audiences.

Participants will explore the content of the work for curriculum based learning, and be offered support in applying to the Arts Council of Wales for a grant to cover the costs of attending a performance at a local theatre in February and March.

Facilitator: Led by Theatr Iolo, this course has been developed in partnership with Egg Theatre, Conde Duque, Oxford Playhouse, Blackwood Miners Institute, The Borough Theatre (Abergavenny) and The Riverfront (Newport).
