Arts and Education Network: South East Wales

We are a network of teachers, artists and organisations covering the region of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen. We offer free professional development and support to connect and inspire educators to teach the curriculum creatively through the expressive arts – and are fully funded by Arts Council of Wales in partnership with Welsh Government as part of Creative Learning through the Arts – An Action Plan for Wales. Find out more about who we are and what we do here.

“When it’s working well the pupils are so enthusiastic & I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in teaching.” Julia talks about her methods for creative activities, see the blog about Julia’s art room on our blog & contact us if you’d like her to work alongside you #creativelearning

I am so excited to be working with @mrdaviespont 's class this afternoon and Dean from Beat Technique on our #leadcreativeschools project! They are beat boxing. Wow! @Arts_Wales_
