Arts & Education Network: South East Wales

We are a network of teachers, artists and organisations covering the region of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen. We offer free professional development and support to connect and inspire educators to teach the curriculum creatively through the expressive arts – and are fully funded by Arts Council of Wales in partnership with Welsh Government as part of Creative Learning through the Arts – An Action Plan for Wales. Find out more about who we are and what we do here.

Sarahs work involves building up printed materials into small, delicate looking 3D collages, we cut up some of the prints we had made to try this technique. #CreativeLearning #Printmaking #Cwmbran @CCBCarts

Monoprinting involves applying a thin layer of ink to a plate then lightly laying a sheet of paper on top and drawing an image on the back of the paper, this type of printing has a distinctive quality. #CreativeLearning #Printmaking #Cwmbran
